Nothing in the script will set the hidden attribute of the copied files. If your copied files are hidden, I would examine the file system of the volume that you are using to store the copied files, and look for potential causes there. Perhaps, the directory
in which the copied files are stored has it's hidden attribute set, and the subfolders and files are inheriting the attribute.
